From James’s warm welcome to our spacious, well-equipped room, every detail catered to our needs. The large bathroom and luxurious jacuzzi provided much-needed relaxation after exploring nearby attractions like Cataract Gorge. Though the hotel had minor staffing issues, the serene setting and thoughtful amenities made our family bonding lovely. We look forward to returning!

Fabulous base for 2 nights with competent staff who give excellent service. Compact deluxe queen room with views of the garden. A wide range of supplies in the room: a well stocked fridge, a balcony, and a TV set.

The location was great, close to restaurants, in the relatively quiet area. Tried some takeout specials at Subway, luckily it was at a moderate distance from the venue.

I loved the charming old convent vibe of the hotel, and the location was perfect-just a short walk to the city center! Plus, the views from the garden were great, especially at sunset. The owner was super friendly and helpful, giving great recommendations for nearby attractions and eateries.
But my room was a bit cramped for my business trip. The lift was temperamental, which was frustrating—had to call for help to get it to work! it was decent but could use some updates to make the stay smoother.

I just enjoy the location the actual building was just beautiful and it was nice to sleep in a bed and not have my feet hanging over the end. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I will certainly stay there again next time I come to Tasmania

The room I stayed in boasted a lovely view over the city, perfect for morning coffee. This feature elevated my experience, despite the room's size.

I thoroughly enjoyed terrific employees!
Booked a room with exceptionally good views of town. The personnel where more than helpful. The hotel had a super location within walking distance of a rambling riverside park. There was a great restaurant, a supermarket and stores next door.

The AC system was a nightmare! It was shared with other rooms, so we couldn't adjust anything. It felt stuffy and uncomfortable since we couldn't open the window at night either.

The breakfast is savoury with gluten free options, good coffee, there's an option for each taste. All the rooms are nicely decorated with high ceiling and the staff are attentive!

Quality fittings, furnishings, linen etc. Ability to have breakfast delivered to room.
Paying for parking was a little unexpected, although it didn't cost a lot, seemed a petty request. Perhaps they should consider building it into the room rate - it would be a little more friendly.

I was pleasantly surprised by the well-structured database, which made it effortless to locate essential information. The room itself was accommodating for my disability needs, providing ample space that enhanced my comfort. I appreciated the clean environment and the private verandah with a table and chairs, perfect for enjoying morning coffee while taking in the fresh air right outside our window.
One minor drawback was the slight delay in response from reception during busy hours.
